Winnetka Streetscape Improvements

Ciorba Group provided final design engineering services for streetscape improvements in the East Elm Street, West Elm Street and Hubbard Woods Business Districts. The purpose of the project was to replace the existing, outdated streetscape with the Village’s approved Streetscape Master Plan and Implementation Strategy. The design included new curb and gutter, sidewalk, planters, an irrigation system, bump outs at crosswalks, and roadway and pedestrian lighting. Coordination and plan approval were required from IDOT, as a portion of the improvement will be constructed on a state arterial street.
