Edens Spur (I-94) Reconstruction, Plaza 24 to Edens Expressway

Ciorba Group provided preliminary and final design engineering for several bridge replacements along the 3.6 mile improvement. The preliminary engineering involved the inspection and bridge condition report preparation for four bridges located over Metra/Canadian National and Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The final design engineering involved preparing the plans and specifications for 7 complete steel and concrete bridge replacements, several of which have complex geometries including skews over 55 degrees and curved girders.
