Ciorba Group infrastructure improvement projects for State and Local Agencies always involve coordination with utility agencies. Over the years, we have developed an expertise such that we are now providing permitting and construction support for projects directly to utility agencies both in urban and suburban centers, as well as rural areas. Our services include locating utilities; performing conflict analysis; and use of survey Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology, CADD systems, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) mapping. We utilize subconsultants to perform Subsurface Utility Engineering services that involve surface geophysics, 3D laser scanning or televising systems. We also provide design services for temporary soil support systems for utility excavations, temporary support of pipes and conduits during construction, and analysis of conflicts with overhead lines during construction operations.
