Sayre/Foster Residential Drainage Study

Ciorba Group was selected by the Village of Morton Grove to perform a Drainage Study for the Sayre Avenue and Foster Street residential neighborhood. The study assessed the current drainage system capacity and flooding issues, developed and evaluated alternative approaches to alleviate the flooding, and presented the preferred alternatives. XP-SWMM was used to analyze both inlet and storm sewer system capacity.  It was determined that both have inadequate capacity to handle standard design storm events. A combination of grey and green infrastructure improvements were analyzed and recommended.
