Sheridan Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Streetscape

Ciorba Group provided preliminary engineering services for streetscape improvements along Sheridan Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in North Chicago.  The project included new curb and gutter and 10 foot wide sidewalks with landscaped planters spaced throughout the 3,000-foot project length.  Roadway and pedestrian lighting, benches, bike racks, trash receptacles and new signing welcoming visitors to North Chicago will be installed as part of the project improvements.  Landscaping improvements on the east side of Sheridan Road will screen the new development from the existing UP railroad tracks.  Ciorba is also providing final design services.
