UD Tower / Tier 6 High Speed Rail Project

Ciorba Group provided structural engineering services to assist John Burns Construction in the construction of the UD tower project.  The project included inspection and rating of the New Street Bridge superstructure in preparation for the piecemeal demolition of the superstructure to determine the current condition and load carrying capacity. After each demolition Ciorba led the inspection of the superstructure to verify that the remaining portion of the bridge can carry the rail loading. Scope of work included design of temporary facilities.
