Water System Capacity Analysis

Ciorba Group performed a detailed analysis of the Village of Clarendon Hills water system facilities and distribution network in order to provide the Public Works and Community Development Departments a tool for system expansion. The focus of the project was two-fold. First, Ciorba completed a capacity analysis on all Village water system operating components, including supply transfer stations, pump stations, water storage reservoirs, and the distribution network. Second, Ciorba built and analyzed a working model of the system in order to assess alternative supply scenarios for future development in South Side Water Supply Area (SSWSA), and define improvements to meet demands during normal, peak, and emergency conditions
